Anita Mejía was born in the small town of Ensenada in northern Mexico and later studied Graphic Design, graduating in 2007.

Since kid Anita Mejía escapes in imaginary worlds. Anita’s creepy cute characters and fantasy lands are inspired by her chilhood experiences, music, books, movies, dreams, nature and by her everyday life. Her work appears in several exhibitions, magazines and websites.
